My project includes production of black and white photographic art for presentation in galleries and exhibitions. My project includes community enrichment activities such as workshops, classes, and public speaking.

Here are two representative themes of the ongoing projects I'm developing. The first theme is "Looking at the Overlooked", and it represents my continuing quest to bring attention to places and moments in time that others pass by. Sometimes it's the juxtaposition of two elements you would not expect, often with a humorous touch. Other times, it's simply revealing a place that few people have the chance to see, or a providing a new perspective on a familiar place.

 

A second theme is "Thoughts on the Human Condition", represented in my studio pieces, whether portraiture or still life. In all my works, I invite the viewer to relate the compositional elements to their own life experience.

In 2026 I strive to expand my reach by submitting my art to open calls, by applying to art fairs, and by seeking artist residency opportunities. Your financial support increases the number of events to which I can apply and helps cover the costs of producing new pieces, and covers costs of application fees.
