Over the course of the past 2 years, I have found my way back into the Bleeding Disorders Community. In that time I have endeavored to change my artistic voice into one of advocacy.
Even during the COVID-19 lockdowns, I managed to educate and advocate while continuing my journey to grow not only as an artist and musician but as a human being across the board. I’ve had to grow along the way in a manner I never thought myself capable of doing and it is on me to continue doing so.
I repaired my arm after being severely arthritic for more than a decade and it's on me to continue to grow in strength.
I improved my mental health as a result of dealing with my pain and my body in more productive ways.
I started being honest with myself and actually living within my songwriting.
I’m proud to present the next step of that journey.
My musical platform is now an advocacy platform, my art will further my passion for educating the general public on bleeding disorders in hope that I may do my part to normalize chronic conditions and influence those around me to view those who live with them through a more compassionate lens.
I'm all in.
I am working on an album that represents the first time I have actively addressed the topics of mental health through the lens of a chronic condition with my music, and I’m proud to be partnering with the nonprofit Fractured Atlas to do so. Your tax-deductible contributions to my campaign will go towards completing the album and a documentary pitch about the process.
The record is called Redefine.
I'm redefining what Hemophilia means to the general public as I redefine what it means for me to live with the disorder every single day.
I want you to redefine Hemophilia with me.
