Founder and Director Mallory Catlett brings a disruptive energy to classic theatrical texts and finds inspiration in experimental canonical literature to challenge theatrical conventions. The work uses site-specific environments, sound and video technology and the fragmenting filter of memory to push beyond adaptation, creating unique time machines that expand the possibilities of what theater can contain. The dismantling and re-purposing of stories that have already been told is a practice in transformation; an attempt to create openings, to find a way out, and forward.
