RITUALS is a narrative short film about Edward Langley, a man whose carefully controlled life begins to fracture when an encounter with intimacy forces him to confront desire, shame, loneliness, and time. The film explores queer interior life, aging, repression, and the private cost of self-containment through a restrained, image-driven cinematic language.
The project will be presented through festival exhibition, LGBTQ+ and independent film programs, curated community and industry screenings, and eventual digital distribution. Through its festival and screening life, RITUALS aims to create space for a rarely centered queer experience while supporting independent artists working across film, theater, photography, fashion, and visual culture.
