River Rep Theatre

The Sullivan Catskill’s most adventurous professional theater, presenting the finest contemporary playwrights, new plays, and innovative interpretations of classics.

Since 2022, River Rep Theatre has been staging acclaimed  productions in underserved communities throughout the Sullivan Catskills. Each year, the company presents a full season of Mainstage productions, readings, and reprise performances of ‘hit’ plays from their repertoire. Based out of the Delaware Valley Opera Center in Lake Huntington, NY, the company also tours its work throughout the region. 

River Rep is also inspiring the next generation of theater artists, partnering with local schools to offer drama programs, led by River Rep artist instructors. Students can also gain production experience through internships, and attend school performances of River Rep shows, which include lively post-performance artist talkbacks.
