River Rites is a performance and civic engagement project that interrogates Black Mississippi Deltans' relationship to ecology, policy, land, climate, and migration. River Rites will commune with Black residents of the Mississippi Delta in an attempt to understand what spirit, policy, art, land, and history can tell us about the health of Black Deltans as we work towards more just futures.
