Rotation Theatre Company aims to expand opportunities for young artists through a unique model of creative rotation. By encouraging emerging performers, directors, and producers to take on new roles with every production, we open doors that are too often closed to early-career creatives. Founded by young artists, for young artists, we merge theatre and film to spark innovation, expand opportunity, and redefine what's possible on stage and beyond.
At RTC, our mission is not aspirational, it’s practiced. We cast classic works with younger artists and gender-expansive casting that reflects the world we actually live in. We produce fully realized trailers for each show, hire teams of emerging creatives to lead marketing and behind-the-scenes work, and our artists take turns both onstage and off—acting in one production, producing or directing the next. Every project is designed to give artists real responsibility, new skills, and room to grow.
