Rotimi Ogunjobi Presents: African Folktales is a 35-episode animated anthology bringing the living oral traditions of the African continent to children aged 5 to 12 across the United States and worldwide. Each episode draws faithfully from pan-African storytelling heritage - West, East, Central and Southern Africa - narrated by an authentic African voice and accompanied by full K-12 curriculum materials developed for classroom use.
The series is the only professionally distributed pan-African animated folktale anthology for children currently available in the English-language market, with titles distributed through Infobase / Films Media Group to 500,000+ educational institutions worldwide and streaming on Amazon Prime Video Kids. Fundraising will support Season 2 production, SDH accessibility captioning, and Spanish-language dubbing to extend reach into the US Hispanic K-12 community.
