About

The gathering builds on the lineage of Bayard Rustin, the radical black queer strategist who designed the famous 1963 March on Washington, by reclaiming Black queer leadership as essential to bringing people together across diverse backgrounds for the purpose of resisting injustice and creating a community where everyone can thrive. The event uses visual arts, song, dance, and djing to draw participants into dialogue to strengthen LGBTQ community support.
