SAGA Museum of Southeast Asian American Art is building toward the first institution dedicated to Southeast Asian American art — closing a category that's been structurally absent from major museums, university syllabi, and existing Asian American art spaces. Through traveling exhibitions, artist research, and community programming, SAGA is developing a pipeline of curatorial projects, including an installation built from war-era Hmong story cloths and a multi-artist exhibition on Asian American mental health. Your support helps build the artist relationships, programming, and institutional foundation SAGA needs to open its inaugural exhibition.
