Sawadvara is an artist collective co-founded by dancers and cultural workers Asha Rowland and Mikah Simone Akerib. With their passion in being a part of creative spaces that center discussion, new perspectives, connection, and inspiration, Sawadvara is a culmination of Asha and Mikah’s devotion to the continuation of art and life. Sawadvara is hybrid online and in-person community that provides a variety of artistic programming for emerging artists to create, think, and share ideas together.
