The SC Playwrights Lab is a development incubator supporting AAPI diasporic playwrights creating bold, expansive new work for stage and screen. Through artistic mentorship, peer workshops, and interdisciplinary community-building, the lab aims to nurture joyful, messy, and deeply human stories that move beyond reductive representations of Asian identity. The program will culminate in a public reading series in New York City.
