Serpentine is a risk-taking short film by Filipino-American writer/director, Jessie Vrooman. The film is about a young, naive cellist who is sexually exploited by her agent and left with an incurable STI. As her psyche crumbles, it manifests as a python that haunts her as she attempts to pursue a romantic relationship with a woman she just met. Serpentine encourages a discussion that allows people to bring their stories out from the shadows of shame.
