Sierra Circus and Yennega Circus have united forces towards the goal of the professionalization and education of circus arts in Burkina Faso, Africa and beyond. Funds raised will go towards supporting the educational and performance programs of Yennega Circus, including the purchase of circus materials, costumes and sets for circus shows, the construction of a circus center in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, and social circus programs working with at-risk youth, women, people with disabilities and other marginalized groups. Our goal is to utilize the circus arts to build cultural bridges, encourage equality and promote acceptance of all people. Circus has the power to unite, inspire and empower - and that is exactly what we plan to do.
