Slath Founders Circle

Welcome to the Slath Founders Circle!

The Weaving Workshop is in the process of becoming a non-profit school, and we are now fiscally sponsored by Fractured Atlas. We are working to create an advisory circle to secure early financial support for our operating costs during this critical phase.

Our goal is to raise three years' worth of operating costs, totaling $46,000, through Fractured Atlas. This funding will cover rent and insurance for our new storefront space located at 1616 W. 18th Place in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood (feel free to stop by!). Additionally, the funds will help us purchase workshop and class materials and properly compensate our teaching artists.
