The Weaving Workshop is an artist-run school for art and craft in Chicago specializing in fiber art, basketry, and material studies. Founded in 2024 by artist Dee Clements, the school offers hands-on workshops that foster creativity, material exploration, professional practice development and community connection through contemporary art and craft workshops.

We are proud to be fiscally sponsored by Fractured Atlas, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts service organization. Through this partnership, tax-deductible donations from our community can directly support The Weaving Workshop as we build toward becoming an independent nonprofit arts and craft school in Chicago.
