Snip Happens!

We are raising funds to produce a concept album of Snip Happens!, featuring professional musical theater artists and musicians.

When a storm forces the cancellation of the circumcision (bris) Babs Goldberg planned for her unwed-scientist daughter Hillary’s son, Babs is devastated! How will she impress her twin sister, Lenore – Hillary’s favorite aunt? 

Bartender Javier arrives by boat, and instead of a certified rabbi to perform the circumcision, Pastor Gloria shows up, expecting to officiate a wedding. After Babs is discovered dead in the bathroom (too much pickled herring, Babs!), Aunt Lenore swings in via helicopter, to help solve the mystery… Or was a crime committed? 

Babs is discovered alive, floating upstream - in the remains of her powder room! Questions lead to more questions... Who had it in for Babs? Will Hillary find love? And who is going eat all these bagels? 

Snip Happens! is about keeping traditions alive while facing modern challenges – all while maintaining a good sense of humor: one of the greatest “traditions” of them all.
