Sora is a new cultural initiative in New York City dedicated to fostering international dialogue and artistic exchange between Japan and the U.S. through immersive classical music experiences. Our organization brings audiences into intimate contact with classical music by presenting unique performances which engage all five senses - an important aspect of enjoyment in Japanese culture. With Sora, we look to the sky as a metaphor for openness, connection, and limitless possibility—a fitting name for a project that seeks to dissolve borders through the shared human experience of music and art.
