STORIES FOR ACTION (SFA) is an online media hub that cultivates a thriving environment through the power of storytelling. With increasing pressures on our natural world, there is an urgency to improve how we interact with our environment. As long as these issues are divisive, we will not make the progress necessary for a livable planet. Stories for Action promotes inspiring examples of businesses, organizations, and individuals taking positive actions to better the environment. By sharing these stories within our political, educational, and professional circles, we can quicken the adoption of positive actions.
Stories for Action carries out its mission through producing original video and photography content, as well as curating content from around the world. We offer full production services for organizations and businesses who align with our mission. SFA also pursues its mission by leading storytelling workshops, running outreach programs, and is developing a Storytellers Network.
SFA focuses on promoting stories that give instances of divided groups coming together, cross-sector partnerships, and bipartisan solutions. The only way we can achieve a thriving world at the necessary pace, is if we can work together. SFA proves this is possible and gives inspiration and road maps for other entities taking that lead. We also focus on the topics of regenerative food systems, Indigenous advocacy, and ecological economies (circular & regenerative economy, renewable energy, natural capital, ecological services, etc.).
Between traditional knowledge and new innovations, the solutions exist for human and natural systems to work together into the future; our obstacle is simply a cultural one. Let's share the stories that shift this culture to unite around environmental stewardship.
