Strings is an interdisciplinary choreographic research project exploring the body as a living archive of ancestry, cultural memory, and identity. As a Greek-American choreographer, I will spend one month in Thessaloniki, Greece - the region where my grandfather’s family originated - researching movement traditions, oral histories, mythology, and embodied memory. The residency will culminate in a public performance and lay the foundation for future choreography, educational programming, and cultural exchange between Greece and the United States.
