Suara envisions a new canon of choral music that gives voice to Southeast Asian cultural music in all its diversity. We are dedicated to (1) performing and promoting Southeast Asian choral music in Los Angeles, (2) fostering collaborations between Los Angeles-based musicians and Southeast Asian choral musicians, and (3) providing meaningful Southeast Asian choral music educational opportunities to our singers and community.
$70 = Overhead cost for 1 month (insurance, website, bookkeeping, fiscal sponsorship status)
$150 = Pianist for 1 rehearsal
$500 = Sheet music for 1 concert
$1500 = Guest musicians for 1 semester
$3000 = Administrative cost for 1 semester
