In Falling, Jade Manns’ newest choreographic work premiering at Pageant May 14-16, 2026, three dancers (Maxi Hawkeye Canion, Kalliope Piersol, and Noa Rui-Piin Weiss perform) move through three distinct phases, buoyed by Derek Baron’s composition of tectonic sounds. In line with Manns’ past work, Falling demonstrates how the richness of choreographic movement, relatively unadorned, can evoke the grotesque virtuosity of the natural world.
