The Survival Kit Community Writing Access Program brings free trauma-informed creative writing workshops to people who couldn't otherwise afford them, in partnership with LGBTQ+ centers, survivor-support organizations, and recovery settings. Participants develop their own poems, essays, and hybrid pieces in a space built to be safe for trauma survivors, then share that work with the public through readings, a printed anthology, and possible public installations. Your gift covers the cost of running these workshops free of charge: facilitation, materials, accessibility, publication, a public showcase of participants' work, and any site fees.
