Tails From the Metaverse is a 1,000-person documentary ethnography of the furry community in VRChat. Through in-world interviews, the project captures how community members experience identity, creativity, and belonging in virtual space. The work produces a video series, a transcription archive, and a peer-reviewed paper — all participant-controlled.
