Tavine Productions, Inc.

A one Woman Show Exploring the Intersection of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Queer Identity

About

HI FRIENDS!!!

We are Thanh and Olivia, the co-founders of Tavine Productions, Inc. This year our very own Olivia Levine is mounting a three week run of her one woman show at The Tank NYC in Jan/Feb of 2020. Olivia's show charts the evolution of her Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and how it has engaged particularly with her sexuality and identity as a queer woman. Using elements of standup, storytelling, and movement work, the show explores the impact of her OCD on her romantic, platonic and familial relationships.

Words from Olivia:

"I'm so thrilled that I'm being given the opportunity to mount a full blown production of a show that I've been working on for over four years now, a show that is dearer to my heart than anything else I've ever worked on. This show reveals the most personal parts of me. The very funny bits and the very scary bits! And I feel lucky that I will be able to get up on stage for three weeks and share myself in such a vulnerable way."

WHAT WE HAVE SO FAR!

-An exciting new one woman show!
-An amazing venue!!!!!
(The Tank NYC provides FREE space to artists as well as FOH staff, insurance, etc.)

WHAT WE NEED!

Though this particular project won't involve a huge team or design budget, we still need $$ to pay the artists involved, pay for rehearsal space, etc.

With your generosity and support, we will be able to fund the costs of the following things:

 -Press and marketing
-Cost of set, costumes & lighting
 -Rehearsal Space
-Artist stipends
-Videographer
-A few other miscellaneous costs like printing, transpo, etc.
