TDC NYC is a theatrical producing organization that believes theater has the power to change hearts and minds. We are a brand new Manhattan based not-for-profit company who is committed to giving theatrical artists of all types a welcoming Sandbox to play in, as well as a supportive environment to create new art and express bold ideas.
It is our mission to present plays and musicals that are socially relevant to American audiences today. Theater is NOW. Not just of the moment you are watching, but of the time you are watching it in. Theater should be entertaining and invigorating, but it can also be a powerful tool used to expand horizons.
Through our work with our main-stage productions, as well as our developmental readings and workshops, it is our goal to constantly be moving the medium forward. TDC NYC is committed to producing original works by new and emerging American Authors, as well as new conceptual revivals of classics by emerging directors that give them a new and necessary perspective for modern American audiences.

For that reason, every single piece of theater we produce has tickets available free of charge, and many others that are low-cost.
