My project will allow me the time to write, produce new work, revise current manuscripts and poems, hone my craft, attend workshops and conference, submit, publish and promote my work and books. It will allow me to raise the bar, push the boundaries of contemporary American and South Asian literature, focus on submitting work to journals, websites, podcasts, collaborations etc., speed up these processes so that I can be as productive and successful as possible. I hope that as I get more recognition, more doors will open for me, and I will in turn be able to open doors for poets/writers like myself.
