The Chief Theater Revitalization Project seeks to transform Steamboat Springs' historic downtown Chief Theater into an inclusive, year-round cultural hub where creativity is accessible, artistic voices are empowered, and emerging and established artists have the space, resources, and opportunities to bring their visions to life. Through thoughtfully curated performances, multidisciplinary arts programming, education, and community collaboration, we aim to remove barriers to artistic participation, champion diverse creative expression, and foster a more equitable and vibrant arts community. By preserving this historic landmark and reimagining it as a lasting cultural institution, our mission is to ensure that art, culture, and creative opportunity remain an essential and accessible part of Steamboat's future for generations to come.
