The Church of Chaos is an independent feature-length horror anthology bringing together a group of filmmakers to tell interconnected stories of cosmic horror, dark comedy, and ordinary people confronting the extraordinary. Each filmmaker brings a distinct voice to the anthology, while the stories are connected by the mysterious Church of Chaos and the unknowable forces lurking behind it.
Produced primarily in Illinois with independent filmmakers, performers, practical-effects artists, and regional crew, the project combines established genre talent with emerging Midwest artists. Once completed, the film will be brought directly to audiences through The Great American Congress, a traveling series of free public screenings, along with original online content that expands the strange world of The Church of Chaos beyond the film itself.
