The First Ten is an arts program supporting the career advancement of mid-career women artists who are mothers to children under the age of ten offering professional services, community, and general care at a time of great transition.
Our core program is a year-long virtual initiative that supports a cohort of six grantees through regular group career consultations, access to a professional grant writer, quarterly creative workshops, and opportunities for networking and visibility. We serve artists across the country, connecting them through diverse art communities.
