The Healthy Oyster Collective

The Healthy Oyster Collective is a theatre company comprised of a rotating group of artists, led by playwright Eric Marlin. We make work that is politically inquisitive and socially progressive, with an emphasis on building playful forms in which to explore serious ideas. Our work eschews the notion that “political theatre” is good medicine – taken begrudgingly and with little enjoyment. No finely polished grimness. No glib pessimism. The Healthy Oysters favor expressive, flamboyant modes of performance for our investigations.
