The Maker Morris is the curatorial and studio practice of San Diego-based contemporary artist and curator Stephen Morris, encompassing original painting, exhibition programming, live music, and community arts education. Working primarily through Brokers Building Art Gallery in downtown San Diego, the practice has presented over 45 artists, approximately 60 musicians, and welcomed 500–600 community attendees through interdisciplinary public programming in the past 15 months.
