The Manna Root is a public arts project that transforms a reclaimed grain silo into a rural sculpture studio, gallery, and fabrication space. The studio will support the creation of large-scale, land-based, and conceptual artworks, including a kudzu-covered metal figure, ritualistic football-themed sculptures, and habitats built from invasive Chinese privet hedge. This project blends environmental intervention with cultural commentary, rooted in Southern material history and mythic imagination.
