THE MILLION UNDERSCORES

We are THE MILLION UNDERSCORES _ _ 
we've been making experiments in theater in Brooklyn since 2013. 
We develop original theater pieces with an ensemble of artists, inquiring into theater as a medium, and experimenting with different processes of generation and juxtaposing aesthetics. This labour is time intensive, physically present, deeply mental and very rewarding. 
We want to be able to compensate our performers and collaborators both economically and through events that foster and celebrate our community. 
Besides our theater productions we also teach classes, hold performance research workshops and host short-play readings that are open to the general public. 
After years of running all these tracks with very little financial help, we can assure you that your donation will support not just one project but an entire system of transformation, art making and art sharing.
