The Milokan Cultural Center and Drum Museum provides drumming experiences to people of all ages and levels of ability. Children benefit from early exposure to music and drums are an easy way to get started. Advanced and professional musicians regionally have opportunities to collaborate with superb musicians from other cultures, those musicians gain exposure here, and our audiences experience deep folkloric authenticity and cutting edge innovation during our performances. We actively support the development of community programming in Haiti in collaboration with The Haitian National Confederation of Vodouisant, and are endeavoring to develop a network of cultural centers that extends from Haiti to Africa and the US.
