The Mirror Between Us is a character-driven psychological short about four housemates whose relationships begin to fracture during a period of forced closeness. What starts as a familiar, cozy routine slowly slips into something unsettling as each person’s unspoken fears, buried grief and unresolved tension begin to surface. Small distortions in their home life, moments that do not quite make sense and emotional cracks they can no longer avoid, create a growing sense that something inside the house is shifting.
The film follows four individuals from different cultural and personal backgrounds as they navigate the quiet unraveling of their shared world. Through a blend of humor, tension and subtle uncanny elements, the story explores how identity and truth begin to warp when people have nowhere left to retreat, not even from themselves.
Created with a diverse cast and team, the project highlights voices and emotional experiences that rarely take center stage in genre storytelling. The Mirror Between Us stands on its own as a psychological drama and also serves as the narrative foundation for the feature House of Toxic Hues of Blue, now in development.
By weaving intimate character dynamics with a slow-building sense of the eerie, the film offers a fresh, resonant take on human connection, emotional rupture and the thin line between perception and reality.
