inFLUX is a women-led theatre collective based in Philadelphia founded by Pig Iron MFA graduates Jacqueline Libby, Christine Octavia Shaw, and Jacinta Yelland. inFLUX creates meticulous and raucously uninhibited new works of live performance. They seek to upend the conventional - exploring the hidden parts of themselves to explode the taboos of our society. inFLUX won the 2021 Philadelphia Fringe Festival’s award for best work of theater for The Choice which went on to its New York Premiere as part of HERE’s curated sublet series. The company was in residence at Bethany Arts Community in 2020 and 2021. inFLUX collaborated with Glen Foerd in 2022 to host their immersive, interactive event, The Wedding Crashers Ball, and they are currently in development for the 2023 edition. inFLUX is also currently undertaking a 15-year-long performance project, The Motherhood Project, tracking their evolving relationship to reproductive choices through their 20, 30s and 40s through 5 new works of live performance over the next decade.
inFLUX is launching into a busy 2023-2024 season - a new work premiering in September, the return of our Glen Foerd collaboration in October, and Chapter Two of the Motherhood Project begins in 2024.
