Director/Producer Margaux Ouimet began her career at the National Film Board of Canada where she wrote, directed and produced a short fiction and several award-winning documentaries. As an independent filmmaker, she has given a voice to people in places like Cambodia and the Atikamek First Nation community of Manawan, in Northen Quebec. In the private industry, she has created and production managed two 13-part series for Radio-Canada TV, produced, written and co-directed documentaries which have won awards at international festivals like Hot Docs, Locarno and Turino among others.
