The Origin: The Pink Hulk: One Woman’s Journey to Find the Superhero Within is my award-winning solo show about being a 3-time cancer survivor--Stage 3 Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, and then 15 years later, Stage 2 breast cancer, and 4 years after that, Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. I want to inspire and empower any person facing adversity in his/her life that there is hope. I am truly blessed and grateful that after only 5 months of treatment--just oral mediation only--no surgery, radiation or chemotherapy--like the 2 times before, the cancer is gone--no evidence of disease. And in only 5 months’ time, The Pink Hulk transformed from a reading into a full staged production, which debuted in 2016. It been accepted into 40 different play festivals worldwide since its debut, won multiple awards and has been touring both domestically/internationally and virtually now, including over 23 cities and all over Europe. Raising funds for both national and international organizations, I have held audience talkbacks after performances.

History: I first began writing The Pink Hulk in November 2015–the same year I finished treatment after my second battle with cancer. And now I have updated my story, as I have just beaten cancer for the third time, now free and clear of Stage IV metastatic breast cancer!

Its Impact: Now more than ever The Pink Hulk is a testament to NEVER give up hope!! I didn't give up, even with this latest diagnosis and never should you! We all have a superhero inside ourselves to help us conquer any adversity in life. In the show, I talk about subjects not normally addressed when it comes to cancer treatment: early menopause, body image, side effects.The Pink Hulk has plenty of HUMOR: guaranteed. I put a sexy face to cancer and it is unlike no other show you've seen because it's funny and poignant at the same time--you will laugh and you will cry! I thank my family and friends and doctors who rallied around me again to kick cancer to the curb. Thanks for your donation!
