The Pompom Project offers free, inclusive community craft workshops that are turned into community art installations for museums, schools and public spaces. The project teaches a skill as well as offers informative information about "craftivism" - craft and activism together. The project aims to bring community together through craft and emphasizes the importance of crafting together for community strength. The Project utilizes yarn, scissors and pompom makers to make fuzzy yarn balls that when collected and put together create large scale artworks in the community.
