The Riveter is a multidisciplinary-artist collective that creates profound, accessible, and radical theater.
We believe that live art needs diversity - we prioritize uplifting every voice in our ensemble and thoroughly explore the crossroads of shared experience and stark difference. Our rehearsal rooms are equitable, sustainable, and driven by play. Every member gets a say.
We put on performances showcasing the joys, tribulations, and stories of community members that accurately represent the people of Chicago. We provide space for work by BIPOC, LGBT+, and disabled artists.
We are committed to producing work that will spark conversation, empathy, and change in our audience members.
