The Walk Discourse is a social practice art project, educational platform, and research laboratory that provides room for exchanges about public space and merges the practice of walking & art. Our interdisciplinary arts program aims to playfully and critically engage participants to study the places we live in. At the community's core is the belief that we must engage with our neighborhoods to ignite change and create a sense of belonging. We are dedicated to helping artists and community members understand the spaces they live in and support community-building processes. We know bodily engagement in and with public space is key to addressing the challenges of the 21st century.
