Theater of the Apes was founded in the late 90s by
Greg Kotis and
Ayun Halliday with the goal of producing inventive low budget theater.
There was an interval in which some babies were hatched and raised.
20 years later, Theater of the Apes rose again, presenting original, oddball theater rooted in the comedy of human existence, as a call to action and an antidote to depression and despair.
