Theatron ProductionsTheatron Productions' mission is to promote community health by creating opportunities for minority theatre artists to practice their craft, and apply dramaturgy through a minority perspective to our work.
Our productions will feature significant contributions from artists across a wide cross-section of cultural heritage, LGBTQ+ identity spectrum, age, gender, and body type.
Our aim is to bring free, high-quality theatre to the public.

Provide an opportunity for students with the Theatre of Hearts/Youth First program to experience theatre for the first time
WHAT WE ARE DOING:The Dumb WaiterThe Dumb Waiter will be the inaugural production of Theatron Productions. Nobel Laureate Harold Pinter creates an absurdist world in which the logic of modern narratives is reversed as he exposes the unreasonable facets of social dilemmas faced by working class individuals in a capitalist culture. Our production examines what happens when disadvantaged, working-class folk are exploited by the rich and powerful.
Performances will be free to the public, with one performance presented to the students of the Theatre of Hearts/Youth First program at Barack Obama Global Prep Academy and John Hope Continuation High School, both located in South Central Los Angeles. This program serves our local youth by bringing the arts into classrooms at underserved schools throughout Los Angeles County.
WHAT WE NEED:
We need to raise $7, 500 by July 01, 2023 to pay for:
Hollywood Fringe Festival registration fees
Dramatists Play Services licensing fees (royalties)
Site fees
Sets
Costumes
Props
Publicity
Modest stipends to cover travel & personal expenses and rehearsal time for our artists.
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
We are seeking the following donations by July 01, 2023 and any amount is gratefully accepted:
$75 donation includes a reserved seat at any performance.
$150 donation includes a reserved seat and a social media shout out.
$300 donation includes a reserved seat, social media shout out, and special mention on our website
$500 donation includes all of the above and credit as an Executive Producer
