After years of writing, dreaming, and refining, the time has come to record my debut album. Like my heroes before me, I only get one chance to make a first album—a body of work that captures the heart and soul of my artistry. My vision is to create something timeless, a collection of songs that can stand as a testament to beauty, vulnerability, and connection.
Just as I've felt called to return over and over to records from Joni Mitchell, Crosby Stills & Nash, or John Prine, I want to make an album which does the same for future generations, offering comfort and familiarity in the form of honest, organic, musical-storytelling.
With Grammy Award-winning producer Tyler Chester, and LA's top session musicians and engineers, we will be capturing a raw and collaborative energy onto a beautiful old tape machine, in the magical environment of Bell Choir Studios in Glendale, CA.
This collection of songs mean the world to me, and I know that they have the power to deeply move and affect people from many different walks of life. The process of writing and preparing these songs has been a deep and healing experience for me, and I want to share that feeling with anyone who is open to experiencing it as well. Music has been the greatest gift and healing force in my life, and if my music can have even a fraction of that affect on someone, then I'll have done my job well. I'm so excited to share this with you all, and grateful beyond words for any and all support.
