Tilted Axes is a movement-based ensemble of electric guitarists and percussionists performing site-specific works in public spaces, museums, and theaters. Amplified by portable gear, the players move in choreographed formations, weaving intricate soundscapes that merge rock energy with contemporary composition, community engagement, and theatrical performance.
We’re completing an ambitious new recording project—over 30 works from the last 5 years. They will made available to the public at little or no cost—thanks to your support. These recordings will be released in stages over our 2025-2026 season.
