Filmmaker Bio:
Nick Sadler (Director/Producer)
As an actor, Nick has appeared in films such as True Grit, Scent of A Woman, Disclosure, Fair Game, and Mobsters. He’s participated in The Sundance Institute Filmmakers Lab and is a graduate of The Juilliard School.
His first short film, Jesus Tells A Joke, which he wrote, directed, and produced premiered at The Hamptons Film Festival and went on to screen at Slamdance and Film Festivals worldwide. The film was selected to be included in the Canal + Documentary The History of Jesus in Cinema.
He’s a Producer and Creative Consultant of the Ray Romano HBO documentary 95 Miles To Go.
Nick is currently in preproduction with Todd Field (Academy Award Nominated Writer/Director/Producer of In The Bedroom and Little Children) on amateur fools, an original screenplay that Nick wrote and is directing. In addition, he’s producing with Arcady Bay (Bridge To Terabithia, The Great Gilly Hopkins) an adaptation of National Book and Caldecott Award Winning author Katherine Paterson’s The Same Stuff As Stars
