We will be offering TWO types of classes the EMPOWERMENT IMMIGRANT CLASS and the BUILDING BRIDGES CLASS
EMPOWERMENT CLASSES
Participants (Spanish speaking immigrants) will get to hand-build their rights, self worth and also a beautiful piece of clay !!
Participants will pick up a box with clay, glazes and tools! Once they have their box, they will join a ZOOM class where they will meet other participants and will learn not only their rights but also how to create a beautiful art piece. After Zoom classes are over, participants will drop of their piece to be fired, glazed and ready for pick up at Bklyn Clay in Brooklyn!
BUILDING BRIDGES CLASS
Participants will learn about communities in their neighborhoods, especially immigrants, they will learn their rights so that they can be good allies while working on a clay piece!
Participants will pick up a box with clay, glazes and tools!
