Egor Trukhin is a Russian-Israeli theater and film director, actor, playwright, and scriptwriter. His works have been presented in 17 countries across leading stages and international festivals. His acclaimed play I Am Here toured globally, and his award-winning short film In Silence received honors at festivals in Moscow, Beijing, and Bremen. In 2022, Trukhin left Russia in protest of the war in Ukraine. He now lives and works in New York.
