We live in a culture that has fed us lies. Lies about who we are together and who we are apart. Lies about the role of women, lies about the role of Black People, lies about our own power and what the possibilities are when we unite. We want TRUTH to hum, to move in our bodies and in our cells, to make us say “MmmmHmmm!” “Tell the Truth!” “The Devil is a Liar.” We want our audiences to feel that too. We want them to sing with us, to move with us and to celebrate the liberation that comes from reclaiming our right to make History.
