In Two Fathers, director Alexandre Chacón takes us to the heart of two heartbreaking stories—Robert Roberson and his own. Through his lens, Alexandre sheds light on the limitations and flaws of justice systems worldwide regarding the markers of Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS) and child abuse in general as well as wrongful conviction, junk science, death row and underprivileged people fighting to prove their innocence.
With our documentary, we aim to bring attention to Robert Roberson’s case and advocate for the new trial he rightfully deserves. We intend to raise awareness about systemic failures in the justice system, encourage public discourse on criminal justice reform, and inspire advocacy for policy changes.
